The family in November.
Gene, Stephen, Lucy, and Natalee the day we got Lucy.
Well, as it's been over seven months since some one has updated the blog, I decided to actually do something about it and update it today. So much has happened since the last entry, so I'll try to remember the most important things of it. We celebrated my 14th birthday in September, my Papa and Grandma Jones came to visit and Mom's and Spencer's( he turned 12) birthdays in October, in November we put our beloved dog Hillary asleep the day after Thanksgiving, in December we went to Utah for Christmas and celebrated my Dad's birthday, in January we finally finished our basement and I made it into my school play as an extra, in February we celebrated Boston's 9th birthday, Boston started soccer season, and I sprained my finger which resulted in me wearing a splint then tape and not being able to write or play my instruments properly for 3 weeks, and now in March we have gotten a new dog. So it's been a bit of a crazy seven months.
Our new puppy, Lucy, is eleven weeks old and a white tri collie pup. She is so cute and a bit insane. She loves to play ball( which something our other dog loves too), bother Henry to pieces, play with all the toys at once, and to run and adventure out in the backyard. And I swear she's like Hillary in a different dog sometimes, she does so many things like her. Sometimes I just have to laugh about it. They eat the same way, sleep the same way, they even walk on a leash the same way, it's a little weird. Hillary must have talked to her plenty of times before she was born. But I think the weirdest part of getting Lucy is that, for once, getting the puppy had nothing to do with me. I'm always talking about getting a dog and look at them, but this time it had nothing to do with me, but all to do with my dad. he was the one completely in love with the dog and the one that decided to drive us all to Milledgeville, GA, around 2 and 1/2 hours away, to get the dog. It's still surprises me a little bit. And right now he has her on his lap and Lucy is kissing his face and everything. It's pretty funny.
Last week we had snow in Georgia and missed a day of school because of it. It was pretty exciting just because we did not have to go to school and the snow actually kind of stuck to the ground. After the cold front left, the weather has gone back up to the early spring time temperature of seventy-ish degrees. I can't wait for that mid-summer sweat rolling down the back temperature that'll be coming soon.
Yesterday Gene had his wisdom teeth taken out. I originally felt sorry for him, all he did was lay on the couch. But last night he obviously was feeling semi okay as he was fixing the surround sound in the basement so that we could watch Lord of the Rings with everything whizzing by our heads. So yes he's doing okay with the removal of four teeth he's never even seen before. And yes we both sat in the basement for nine hours watching all of the Lord of the Rings movies last night and this morning. I haven't seen them until now so it was pretty awesome, and I wasn't even that grossed out during all the battles and never asked Gene to fast forward. I'm still pretty proud of myself.
Well that's what has been happening the good old South at the Jones house. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life to the fullest. And I promise to at least have someone or me update the blog a lot more than we have been lately.

Natalee, thanks for updating your blog. What a cute puppy! That sounds a bit crazy for our house, though. It was fun to see you at Christmas.
Lucy is adorable! More pictures please!
And I need more about all of you as well...
I think Lucy is a great name for your new blog. It was great hearing what you've been up to.
