What We've Been Up To

Once again time has gone by just too fast. We've been super busy here in the crazy southern world. But now that school is out for the kids and summer has come, hopefully time will allow for more blogging and more exciting things to blog about. To make up for some lost time, here are some pictures of some fun things that we've been up to, and sorry but they are in no particular order.

All the kids on Christmas morning waiting to go downstairs to open presents. It was the first Christmas since the 1870s that there has been a white Christmas in Georgia. And it was beautiful and a lot of fun!

As the need for snowplows is normally low, when it snowed and then iced over in the middle of January, the kids got another full week off of school directly after Christmas break. It was so much fun to have snow for a full week to play with and sled down.

Walking a trail down by the Chattahoochee River with the dogs in February. It was a gorgeous day and a really fun memory for the entire family.

A proud momma with a car magnet for all the schools her kids are at, it's the only year that there was a kid in elementary, middle, and high school along with college.

The boys, Stephen, and Grandpa Jones in Madison, Ga when Grandpa and Aunt Jeanie came to visit in May. It was great seeing them and we enjoyed taking them throughout the Peach State to see some of our state's history.

Gene, Natalee, Aunt Jeanie, Stephen, Spencer, and Boston all at Stone Mountain for the laser show that plays throughout the summer. It was super fun and a summer tradition to do when people come to visit.

Gene and Natalee at BYU when Natalee and Leesha went to visit him in March. And we got our wish of seeing some wonderful snow while we were there.

The family with Mr. Tom and Ms. Trish, our neighbors, when we went to see the Atlanta Temple Open House. It was extremely beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed going through the open house as a family and also getting to bring our neighbors along with us.

We hope everyone is doing well and having a great start to their summers!
Love from,
The Southern Clan
