It's hard to believe but the little boy we brought home to our first house in Roy sixteen years ago today is going a date tomorrow night. Gene is so excited to go to the prom and date. He got his hair cut today and has his new suit, shoes and red tie already to go tomorrow. All that's left to do is pick up the flowers. He and three other priests and their dates are going to go to the prom together in a limo. They are going to the Cheese Cake factory for dinner and I hope they have a great time at the LDS prom that is held here in Georgia at Georgia Tech. Life will never be the same as he thinks about girls, girls and girls. Gene will be made a Priest on Sunday is almost as tall as me. I repeat the word almost. Now if we only could get him to take less than a 15 minute shower before seminary each morning.
Today we were cleaning out the boys rooms and I took so many fun toys to Goodwill. Every time I look there is another toy or book that they have all grown out of playing with or reading. Leesha and I are trying to survive the last two weeks of school with concerts, AP Tests, finals, class parties, etc.

16? How did that happen? Wasn't I just 16?
Anyway- we're glad that everyone is still growing and hope that Gene has a great date!
I hope the date went well. It is hard to believe Gene is 16!
Gene, you were just an infant when I got married. I guess that makes me an old lady. I hope you had fun at prom and good luck on your AP tests and finals. Your not so old Aunt Shelly
